Taking on the Bcard!

Photobucket

Now you may be thinking, Whats the Bcard? What does it do?

Basically the Bcard is Malaysia's premier lifestyle and brand focused loyalty program card. It enables you to collect points during transactions & redeem the accumulated points for vouchers & products that you want.

The Bcard can be used at outlets such as:

Photobucket

The great benefits of the Bcard are such as:
- There are no annual fees to it
- Points can be collected at participating merchants
- Points can be redeemed at over 250 outlets
- Points only expire 36 months after transaction

I was given the chance of using the Bcard to show how simple it is to redeem & pay with the Bcard. As for my merchant of choice, I headed down to Starbucks to grab a nice mocha frap on a hot sunny day

Photobucket
One does not simply walk into Starbucks without a Bcard!

so what you want to do is:

Photobucket
Pass your Bcard to the cashier, tell them that you want to REDEEM your points, and start ordering!

Photobucket
The cashier will then pass to you the Bcard transaction machine for you to ENTER YOUR 6 DIGIT PIN

Once you've entered your pin number, The transaction is now complete & the receipts are printed. You're just required to sign the transaction slip for the merchant like a credit card

and last but not least:

Watami Pavilion Food Review

Photobucket

Watami is a casual dining Japanese restaurant located at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur with its fusion of the traditional Japanese cuisine & modern Japanese cuisine. Courtesy of Watami & Annie, I was able to attend the food review for its dinner sets. The Dinner set that we ordered was a dinner set for 4 which comprised of a lot of food and is priced at RM200.

The ambience in the restaurant is very cozy and comfortable with light Japanese Music playing. The restaurant is also targeting families to come to dine in by offering some fusions such as Onion Rings & bite size food for children.

As for the night, Lets head to the photos of the food:

Ala Carte

Photobucket
For the drinks, We had 4 different fusions of Lime Mixed drinks.
Personal opinion: The one with Coca-cola taste the best for me

Photobucket
As for starters, Its the teriyaki chicken salad!
Personal opinion: Its a superb mix and its really tasty as Watami produces their own sesame dressing. The texture of the dressing is thick and its flavour is tremendous!

Photobucket
Mixed Shashimi
Personal opinion: Its served cold at the right temperature & in thick cuts.

Photobucket
Wafu Hitokuchi Steak.
Personal opinion: Its tasty & cooked till medium well which makes it not chewy and still juicy

Photobucket
Tempura Moriawase. Deep fried prawns & vegetables in tempura batter.
Personal opinion: The Tempura was crispy & tastes well

Photobucket
Wafu Pizza.
Personal opinion: its one of the best pizza's I've tasted in my life. Rich in flavour with a thin crust. Just how I like it. Give it a try!

Photobucket
Tokusan Sushi Moriawase. A mixture of sushi such as salmon, tuna, eggs and more.
Personal opinion: Sushi is fresh but the rice was squeezed too tight together

Photobucket
Gyuniku Sukiyaki Nabe. A hot pot prepared in front of your eyes.
Personal opinion: a little too salty for normal people. As for me I love the salt!

Photobucket
A plate of Udon to go with the Gyuniku Sukiyaki Nabe
Personal opinion: Its texture is soft enough and goes very well with  the Gyuniku Sukiyaki Nabe

Photobucket
Tokyo Gyudon. Beef Rice Bowl with Hot Spring Egg.
Personal opinion: Its flavourful and the dish compliments the flavours of others

Photobucket
Dessert, 4 flavours of Ice Cream, Vanilla, Chocolate, Matcha (Green Tea) & Coma (Sesame)
Personal opinion: The chocolate flavour was the richest, Green Tea 2nd while the Vanilla was not rich enough and Sesame didn't quite fit my liking.

Pretty much that's what you get for RM200. Personally, Its satisfying and its worth a try! So, why don't just visit Watami & grab a dinner set? its worth it & also you could get other ala carte orders to fit your likings!

As for the last pic, Its a camwhore shot with Jackie

A hike to Broga Hill

Photobucket

Random much, Some of my high school mates with some other friends gathered to go for a hike. A hike to Broga Hill. its a 1.7km hike up and basically its all mud, rocks, sand and just a trail to lead us up. It was really awesome as We haven't done something like this in a long time and practically, It was a great trip to have everyone to watch the sunrise.

Aiming to see the sunrise, We took a 40 minute drive to the foot of Broga Hill. At about 5am, We started hiking up the hill. Everyone was carrying light but as for me, Had a bag full of camera gear and a tripod. Practically sweating the hell up this trip

It took us about 20 minutes to reach the first peak where some of the girls were practically exhausted from hiking up. After taking a short break, only a handful of us still had the will to go on to the next peak. After battling the terrain for another 20 minutes, we finally reached the 2nd peak.

Since it was a public holiday, There were plenty of people climbing up to the 3rd peak. as we saw the crowd, our hearts shrank as practically we will never get a good spot of viewing the sunrise from the 3rd peak. We settled down at the 2nd peak and just waited for the sun to rise.

Lets just let the pictures describe the rest:

The View at 6 am

Since it was dark, We started doing random things with our torch lights
