I’m a Sherlock Holmes in the Making

Sherlock Holmes
is one of the movies that is much anticipated
and it'll be released on the 24th of december
with his famous words
"elementary my dear Watson"

so as for this movie
Nuffnang is giving out premiere tickets
to watch the show 2 days before its release

Now the question is

1st things 1st..

You'll have to become your very own Sherlock Holmes

and you have to search for this Logo:

its hidden in 2 different bloggers sidebars

and you have to take a screen shot of it
for more clues on who the bloggers are

submit your permalink
and wallah!
You may be getting your tickets to the premiere!

and also the first few ones who are able to do so may get prizes!

so as for me
i've already gotten my screenshot and here it is:

Now do you have what it takes to be Sherlock Holmes?

Of We Nag & We Dont Nag

Well i've been quite busy lately
so i couldn't blog bout this premieres

so courtesy of Nuffnang
I was able to attend 3 premieres
which were

A Christmas Carol
Ninja Assassin
New Moon

so starting up:
A Christmas Carol

Featuring Jim Carey!

man yeah he is one of my favourite actors
especially when he portrays his retarded faces

This movie is the remake in 3D
it had the same storyline
but somehow i felt this movie was rather slow and boring
compared to the other versions i've watched

Rating: 4/10

so for this premiere
i brought my one and only:
And of course the 5 Batangs!
Me, Mervyn, Joshua, Chung, Jay
The Dumbness of the 5 Batangs

2nd premiere of the day is:
Ninja Assassin

Acted by Rain (well i still think he is gay)

This movie is about him being a Runaway Ninja
trying to kill his "master" from the Ozunu Clan

For Me..This movie was:
80% violence & blood...
and 20% movie

The action scenes were good
and at least theres reality in which
Rain gets sliced! LOL
but of course theres the part where
Rain can heal himself =.=
which is rather unrealistic

Rating: 5/10

so at the premiere..
The 1st thing we saw is:

GSC wrote it wrongly and Robb just wrote more on it HAHA

well if ur wondering why i'm wearing a chef jacket
its because i escaped early from Kitchen Class LOL
my tickets
Yong Jie, Jo Ling & I
My sister Audrey

So the day after
i was also invited for
The Twilight Saga: New Moon Premiere

Well compared to Twilight
i found this much better
as it wasn't as boring as Twilight

and of course if u read the book
its like 70% of Bella crying
but somehow they managed to do this movie up
which doesn't make Bella cry for 70% LOL

and of course all the girls dropped their eyes
when they saw Jacob's Muscular Body LOL

Rating: 7/10

At This premiere
(since it was only a day after)

this time Robb was trying to make a joke from the previous premiere
Ninja Assassin
My two little flyers

So after this premiere
we headed on to Murni's with the bloggers

and at murni's i was able to get:
The Hypercubes CD

its a really relaxing house lounge music CD

pretty content with it
and i also was able to get:
Tickets To MOS special event =)

till da next post!

Event Day at Bukit Bintang!

Tm’s Event Day

Has finally come to past

It was held at Bukit Bintang Road in front of Sungai Wang Plaza

On the 21st of Nov 2009

The Event blocked half the Bukit Bintang Road

And it was packed with lots of people

That just came connected with!

The Screen
Bukit Bintang Road

Booths by

Youthsays giving out freebies to the people
The main stage of the event
The Guys in charge of the PA systems
The Karaoke Booth

Some of the people singing through my window at the Karaoke Booth

Everyone walking towards the stage area

So the event started about 3pm

And the emcees of the day

Were none other than:

JJ & Ian

So as they were welcoming the crowd and also giving out freebies to the crowd

They were interrupted by:

OMG a cleaner?!?!

As he brought out a whole bunch of other cleaners

And they started to make noises and sounds with their

Brooms, pails, ladders, Bottles and some other equipment!

It was an amazing percussion performance by the cleaners

After their amazing performance

The excitement didn’t stop there!!

As after they started cleaning up their mess

This guy came up and took one of the cleaners brooms

Walking around while balancing a broom on his head

While wondering what was this about

It was actually a signal to some other people

Which eventually came into a FLASH MOB!

And they started sweeping the place

(man this is the 1st time Bintang Walk seemed so clean!)

And they were joined with other forces of Cooking Pans,

Pail covers, and all other percussions that we can’t think of!

Creating a veri large Flashmob of street percussion

Banging their way down Bintang walk!

As the event continued

JJ & Ian started giving away more freebies

And it came to this:

Where Bunkface took the stage

And had a “sing-a-long” karaoke session with the crowd

Where everyone together sang the song

“Through my Window”

The Crowd
Me & Jess
He is soo cutteeeee

The sing-a-long!

Well after the sing-a-long sessions with Bunkface

There were also a sing-a-long session with Suki

(sry no pics as she was at the other side)

And also there was a performance by our very own

Malaysian Crazy Haired Reshmonu!

As the sing-a-longs went along & Performances..

There was also a competition going on

Which is the:

Super Dance Online Competition
Participants playing SDO
Competing mode!

Somehow I don’t know how they do it by using mirrors to play

Well there was only one unlucky thing for the day

It started to rain so heavily!

(maybe its because of the singing? LOL)

Well this is the only sad factor of the day

Anyways so as the rain started to pour so badly

Jess and I headed inside Sg wang

And Jess was so facinated as this was her 1st time at sungai wang plaza

And she bought a bag and a pair of heels

Jess in Confusion

After the rain stopped

We headed outside to watch the final part of the day

Which is the Bannerconcert finals

Where bands that entered the finals were able to

show their talents in their songs and singing
one of the bands performing
the crowd

Joshua, Victoria, Jessica, Me

Well the day finally ended

With Bunk face performing on stage

It was an amazing event

And yeah its proudly brought to you by TM.

Tour around Singapore for NN Awards Day 2

Nuffnang Asia Pacific blogging awards
gave more than what is expected during the 1st day
with a good hotel for us..
lots of good food..
awesome performances..
and of course the awesomeness of being
in the midst of 400 other bloggers
you can refer to this post

well the excitement didn't stop there!
as Nuffnang planned a whole day trip
for the 2nd day we were in Singapore
The day started off at 8am
as we jumped into 4 separate buses
as there were so many of us
and couldn't crowd in 1 location all at once
we were divided into 4 groups
to tour all the same destinations at different destinations at a time

so as for my Group
which is Group B..
we headed off to the 1st place which is:
The Chinatown heritage Centre

it exhibits all the Chinese ways of living
in the earlier years of Singapore

such as:
(clockwise from top)
A Prostitutes room
A Kopitiam
A Chinese kitchen
Chinese local dishes
Chinese barang barang
Gangster's table

so as we finished the Chinese Heritage Centre
we started walking towards the URA Centre

but as we were walking
we had typical distractions
A temple
Bloggers looking in awe

and of course!
Bloggers being Bloggers

so finally:
we reached the URA Centre

The URA Centre shows the development of Singapore
in its buildings and architecture
Poser Sial!
The reception counter
The architecture of Singapore
Godzilla's on the loose!

I hold Singapore on the palm of my hands!

somehow this looks...
simply AWESOME !!!
lolwth =.=

we headed over for lunch at the food court
and headed to the
MINT Museum of Toys

This is one of the places i love the most from the tour!

seriously this Museum is not the typical museum you see
as the collection is some things you wont see in other museums
as the toys are backdated till the 1900s

one toy could fetch up to $20,000
or even more for the bigger ones

the best part is..
This is only 1/10 of the actual toys collected by the owner
as its mostly kept in the warehouse

so if u do visit singapore
do visit this place
as the collections keep on changing every season
and you wont be bored of it!
The front of the Toy Museum

some displays of the toys
The beer cafe located at the top floor
The bunch of bloggers

Slow down boy!
The souvenirs given by Mint Museum

we then headed to the opposite of MINT museum
which is:
Raffles Hotel

which is the historical hotel of singapore
and its really beautiful by the inside and outside
so as we were exploring the hotel
we started:
Modeling & Photoshooting

well most of em were the girls trying to take shots with beautiful scenaries
Group pic with the painted wall

Showing off!

we headed off to
The Singapore Royal Selangor Pewter Museum
as you realise
"Royal Selangor" is actually the Malaysian Trademark
but since Singapore was part of Malaysia last time
there is still Singapore "Royal Selangor"

in this part of the trip
we were divided into two groups
we were able to create our own pewter bowl
with our own engravings inside

that is so cool!
you should try it if you hadn't!

we headed outside of Royal Selangor
as we were waiting for the other group to make their pewter bowls
and we started doing jumps and stunts
and falls =X

Triple Layer! =.=
(Me, Jeremy, Chris)

we headed off to the Singapore Flyer
after the other group has done their bowls
as you know
the Singapore Flyer is now the world's largest observation wheel
we were able to go on a 30 minute ride on the flyer

and we had great views of:
Jackie's sexay pants! Wootz!

The Singapore flyer cabin can also be rented for a dining experience
*especially for the rich & romantic people*

our next stop was:
The Esplanade

it is a durian shaped building
used for performances and shows
its awesome architecture makes you go WOW

but in the end..
we just started taking random pics again...

we walked over to the Merlion Park
as it was only like 5 minutes away
as you know..
The Merlion is the symbol for Singapore
Group pic at the Merlion
1000 hand buddha with the merlion

we then headed off to
Bugis & Orchard road for shopping
Bugis Street

in the end
Bryan, Me, Jeremy, Kristine & Kim bought the same shirt
which spells "EMO"

hahaa stupid but yeah =)

the girls then continued their shopping for clothes
while the guys went shopping for cheap alcohol =)

we then headed back to the hotel after that
and we had our long chats
ghost stories and so on
a Pic of us drawn by Jackie Loi
a picture means a thousand words

well thats all for my Singapore trip

Thx Nuffnang for sponsoring all
the rides and places we went to
*Big Grin*
